Reporting to the Sr. Director of Product Marketing & Insights, the Marketing Manager, Innovation plays a critical role in launching new products and beverage platforms that will modernize our offerings, attract new consumers, and grow our brand equity. The Marketing Manager’s primary responsibility will be to bring new products to market that delight coffee lovers and drive incremental sales. They will be instrumental is building out our 3 year strategic product pipeline across channels, with an initial focus on the Retail Coffeebar and Away-From-Home channels.
The Marketing Manager will partner closely with R&D, bringing forward consumer insights and ensuring innovation delivers against key consumer needs, aligns with Peet’s brand strategy and takes advantage of category growth opportunities. They will also collaborate with Channel Marketing, Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Store Operations & Training to commercialize new items.
Must live in the San Francisco Bay Area. This is a full-time, exempt level role.

Reporting to the Green Coffee Processing Supervisor, the Green Coffee Handler works as part of the roasting and green team. Interacting with the roasters and green coffee procurement on an ongoing basis. The green coffee handler coordinates and stages green coffee for the roasting day, loading green coffee into the silo storage and maintains the cleanliness and organization of green coffee department.

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Machine Operator fills daily coffee orders by operating automated and manual packaging equipment, monitoring the overall quality of all bulk containers, and fulfilling packaging duties in a safe and efficient manner. This is a non-exempt, full time, with variable schedule.

Reporting to the Regional Manager, the Route Sales Representative (RSR) Hybrid is responsible for serving all grocery customers within a specific route in a specific market by delivering fresh Peet’s products. Additionally, the RSR will build and maintain relationships with store management to increase Peet’s visibility within accounts.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Forecasting and ordering a weekly order
- Merchandising store displays to ensure proper inventory, pricing, and date code rotation
- Complying with customers’ scheduled receiving hours and policies
- Position involves early morning working hours and extensive driving time
- Building in-store displays
- Managing point-of-sale inventory
- Solicitation of new accounts fitting approved Peet’s profile
- Selling special programs to store owners and managers
- Keeping all company-supplied equipment clean and serviced, including Peet’s van, warehouse, and POS
- Completing all required reports and paperwork

The Retail Systems Administrator provides system technical review, support, and design recommendations for new and existing retail applications and interfaces. This person plays a key role in the design, architecture, and support for packaged implementations and will be a member of the Retail IT Team. This role works with the Replenishment Planning team to determine appropriate inventory strategies for managed items. This role reports all recommendations, insights, and risks up to the Inventory Planning Manager for action.
