Reporting to the Manger of Roasting Processes and receiving direction from the Senior Certified Roasting Trainer, the Roaster Trainee will complete a certification process in green coffee and roasting. The overall function is to become a certified roaster within the committed period of time. He or she will gain a full understanding of roast curves, roasting systems software and ancillary systems relating to roasting. The Roaster Trainee is a full-time, non-exempt position.
