  • Overview

    Reporting to the Sr. Director of Channel Strategy & Planning, Away from Home, the Sr. Sales Planning Manager Strategic Accounts will own customer relationships and business planning for our largest strategic customers as well as sales planning responsibilities for our division.

    Responsibilities

    • Own customer relationships for our largest strategic customers – Capital One, Google, Specialty’s, Omni, UC System and Lifetime Fitness and deliver annual plan for these customers.
    • Develop growth goals and strategic plans for these customers and partner with cross functional marketing, field operations, field sales and finance to ensure we are delivering these goals.
    • Develop and lead business planning approach and tools for Wholesale Division and collaborate with field teams on continuous improvement.
    • Analyze and understand customer external foodservice trends to inform our long term innovation strategy.
    • Track and monitor performance against big bets across the division and determine resources needed to remove barriers to progress
    • Develop understanding of insights and selling tools needed for field teams that enable us to win new business and target key verticals.
    • Create division selling presentations and sales tools for field sales teams to support new business growth.
    • Develop selling strategy to win strategic RFPs in key hospital and college & university verticals
    • Ensure Wholesale Customer operational requirements are being met by cross functional teams.

     

    Qualifications

    • Experience in Sales Planning for an established consumer packaged goods company
    • Sales experience building relationships and business plans for large retail companies like Target, Amazon, or other retail or Quick Serve Restaurant chains
    • Understanding of strategic selling principles and how to use data and insights and translate those into compelling customer presentations.
    • Experience managing a plan and creating business plans for customers and teams.
    • Desire to “roll up sleeves” and get things done, but also the ability take ownership and lead
    • A strong bias for action and an interest in bringing your experience to a fast paced, high growth team.
    • Experience working cross-functionally with Marketing, Operations, Finance and Sales to develop programs and plans for external customers. 
    • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing, and to influence effectively and broadly within an organization and with senior leadership at our customers.
    • Expert in Microsoft Office Powerpoint
    • Bachelor’s degree required
