    Reporting to the Director of Loyalty and Stored Value, the Loyalty Marketing Specialist is responsible for supporting the Loyalty and Stored Value Marketing team to drive retail traffic and sales, acquire new members, and retain and grow existing members. The Loyalty Marketing Specialist is a critical member of the team, responsible for execution of marketing programs and day-to-day activities including loyalty offer setup, testing and execution, email and multi-channel campaign briefing and execution, gift card program execution, and reporting and analytics. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, detail-oriented, results-driven, customer-focused and willing to learn.

    Responsibilities

    • Loyalty
      • Manage the scheduling, testing, planning and execution of Peet’s email campaigns for Loyalty. Partner with Creative Services and IT to ensure that all emails are coded and deployed accurately and on-time.
      • Lead end-to-end campaign setup and testing for all Loyalty campaigns across email, in-app messaging, and push to ensure reliability and accuracy. Work with internal and external partners to ensure flawless program execution.
      • Lead creative development for Loyalty campaigns, including briefing in email, site and POP creative, as well as copywriting for in-app notifications. Work closely with the creative team to ensure all email assets are delivered on time, free of error and meet objectives.
      • Support field teams with training and communications, related to the Peetnik Rewards Loyalty App and Mobile Order Ahead.
      • Support Customer Experience team related to Loyalty customer concerns. Proactively investigate issues and work to resolve.
      • Manage budget coding and invoicing for the Loyalty and Gift Card programs.
      • Help optimize processes, campaigns, and workflows to improve efficiency given limited resources.

     

    • Gift Card
      • Lead creative development and execution for seasonal and everyday gift cards, both physical and digital.
      • Work with third party data processor, eGift Card provider, and production and fulfillment partners to help get cards to market.
      • Conduct competitive and category research and educate internal stakeholders in relevant trends affecting gift card sales and redemption.

     

    • Analytics and Testing
      • Report weekly on Loyalty metrics leveraging data from Cognos and other tools.
      • Report on seasonal marketing campaign performance, including impact on sales and traffic, as well as ROI.
      • Assist team with ad hoc reporting and analysis to better understand customer behavior and marketing effectiveness.
      • Manage test and control experiments to evaluate creative, copy, offer and segmentation. Report out on results and recommendations.

     

     

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or other relevant field
    • 1-2 years of work experience, preferably in Marketing roles
    • In-store Retail experience and knowledge of Aloha POS system strongly preferred
    • Digital Marketing experience strongly preferred
    • Excellent project management and organizational skills
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Self-starter with the ability to make independent decisions and the judgment to know when to seek guidance.
    • Comfort with analyzing data sets and drawing insights.
    • Customer-focused, with a positive, “can do” attitude
    • Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced environment
    • A team player: proven ability to foster relationships and collaborate with cross functional teams.
    • Proficient in MS Office

    Knowledge of HTML helpful but not required.
