    This job contributes to Peet’s success by developing and launching key wholesale channel marketing programs and by developing and deploying internal and external communications. The wholesale channel is a highly dynamic, rapid-growth channel, the ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities. Candidate should be comfortable navigating highly matrixed organization with minimal direction.  

    Reporting to the Senior Manager of Marketing, the Wholesale Marketing & Communications Associate Manager will create processes and deploy tools that enable our partners to implement Peet’s programs across key business channels: Foodservice and Office Coffee.  

     

    Responsibilities

    Channel Marketing development, deployment and tracking for all seasonal programs

    • Define channel requirements for all marketing tools with cross-channel partners and creative team
    • Collaborate with channel category managers to ensure wholesale business needs are met during product development
    • Lead creative teams by developing creative briefs to generate wholesale-specific field tools (EG sell sheets, program brochures, Drinks-at-a-glance cards)
    • Lead third party vendors and cross-functional teams to deploy marketing tools to the wholesale field teams and customers
    • Develops & deploys seasonal push for all programs for the channel across all products & marketing materials
    • Track channel performance of seasonal marketing initiative

    Channel management of evergreen marketing and key initiatives

    • Develop channel menu strategy, create and launch new menu creation process
    • Identify and develop new marketing opportunities to support ongoing channel key initiatives
    • Responsible for forecasting all marketing materials and ensuring appropriate materials are available as needed
    • Manage ongoing field-facing marketing platforms (sharepoint, digital asset management, external marketing portals)

    Communications Tool Creation & Deployment.   

    • Develop communication calendar and platforms to support internal and external project and product launches
    • Lead wholesale cross-functional teams in gathering content and deploying bi-weekly internal communication 
    • Create & maintain distribution list for licensed partners, PP and OCS customers for use in shipping and electronic communications and website

    Qualifications

    • 2-3 years of marketing experience required, category management experience a plus
    • 1-2 years of analytical experience with track record of driving results through data analysis
    • Proven track record of creating and launching marketing programs and processes
    • History of managing multiple projects with evolving milestones
    • Experience in foodservice industry a plus
    • Ability to build strong relationships with customers and cross-functional team members, including category managers, channel marketers and field account managers
    • Ability to communicate complex ideas, processes and programs clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word and Powerpoint), basic knowledge of CRM system and email marketing platforms.
    • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
